We are looking to grow our team! We're looking for passionate and skilled individuals to step into their roles and become a welcome part of our team.
We have flexible hours whether you are looking to pick up just a couple of shifts per week or up to six days per week.
Membership Service Representatives are responsible for actively generating club revenue, keeping the club and equipment clean, neat, and orderly, as well as greeting and assisting members and working together with all staff to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
Our staff members are treated to a complimentary gym membership to all our clubs!
AVAILABLE SHIFTS:
- Tuesday: 2pm - 8pm
- Thursday: 8am - 2pm
- Thursday 2pm - 8pm
- Friday: 8am - 2pm
- Saturday: 8am - 12pm
- Security shifts may be available outside of regular staffed hours per request
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and checks in all members and guests
- Sells retail products and services
- Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, updates billing
- Fields all member complaints and concerns
- Sell memberships to walk in customers
- Set sales appointments through referrals and leads
- Follows sales policies and procedures for department
- Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club
- Cleaning and organizing the equipment and the club
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time
- Maintains professionalism and appearance. When not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team and leadership skills
- A comprehensive understanding customer service/guest relations
- Must be highly motivated and energetic and organized
- Ability to multitask
- An understanding of health club operations
- Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
- Experience in sales preferred
- College degree preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be provided
