Ivybrook Academy in Franklin, TN is looking for a passionate and nurturing Part Time Preschool Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support early childhood development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activities
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support curriculum goals and school culture
- Observe, document, and assess student development and learning milestones
Requirements:
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and team members
- Ability to pass a background check as required by state childcare regulations
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
