Structural Engineer

Alpenglow Engineering Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time structural engineers with a minimum of 2 years of residential home design experience to come join our team in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We are a small firm that specializes in structural design for custom residential projects but we also work on commercial, industrial, municipal, and bridge projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

· B.S. or M.S. degree from an accredited engineering program with an emphasis in structural engineering

· Strong technical skills and familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Risa, Enercalc, Forte, and Microsoft Office

· Minimum of 2 years experience with residential structural design or related field

· Experience with high-end residential structural design preferred

· Experience with earth retaining structures and deep foundations preferred

· Experience with industrial and commercial structural design a plus

· Design experience with wood, concrete, steel required

· Excellent verbal communication and writing skills

· Passionate and self-motivated
