Material Handler /Truck Loader - Night Shift

Metals USA is seeking a Material Handler/Truck Loader for our Muskogee, Oklahoma location. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor in North America, providing a wide range of carbon steel products and services. Metals USA is a solid, growth-oriented company servicing the defense, commercial construction, and road construction and fabrication industries.

Hourly Rate: $18.50/hour plus $3 shift differential

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic Mathematics skills
• Ability to read and write English Language
• Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures, as well as OSHA standards and regulations.
• Load, arrange, and secure metal products on truck ensuring stability and load integrity.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to warehouse operations.
• Ability to load and unload material using forklift and overhead crane.

• Locating material allocated to the job and moving that material to the proper machine.
• Staging material coming off the production equipment on the correct skid type, per the work instruction and staging product for shipment.
• Loading trucks and completing all appropriate paperwork.
• Perform sheet pulls when needed.
