Role Overview

A premier multi-unit franchise operator is seeking an Area Coach to oversee a cluster of approximately 6 high-volume quick-service restaurant locations in the Albany, Oregon area. This multi-unit leadership role is responsible for driving operational execution, optimizing P&L performance, and coaching General Managers across the market. Designed for a proactive operator, this position requires strong multi-unit vision to prioritize market challenges, hold store leaders accountable, and maintain consistent brand standards without falling into single-store micro-management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit operations across approximately 6 restaurant locations in the Albany, OR market and surrounding territory.
• Lead, coach, and develop General Managers to ensure strong operational execution, team accountability, and internal leadership development.
• Analyze market P&L performance to drive profitability through rigorous labor management, inventory control, and food cost oversight.
• Establish operational consistency across all locations, maintaining high standards for speed of service, food safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify operational gaps, implement corrective action plans, and maintain a proactive market strategy.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven background as a current or former Area Coach, District Manager, or Multi-Unit Operations Leader in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment.
• Minimum of 3+ years of multi-unit leadership experience directly supervising 5 or more restaurant locations simultaneously.
• Demonstrated track record of leading through General Managers rather than directly managing single-store operations.
• Deep operational background in labor control, staffing management, food cost variance, and high-volume QSR execution.
• Strong leadership presence with a history of developing internal leadership pipelines and turning around struggling locations.

Mandatory Non-Negotiables

• Direct experience managing a minimum of 5 QSR locations simultaneously.
• Documented track record of multi-unit delegation and managing through General Managers.
• Ability and willingness to travel daily across the assigned Albany, OR territory.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year
• Incentives: Performance-based bonus structure
• Territory: Compact regional market layout in the Albany, OR area for efficient store visits
