Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload under supervision. Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents, and conduct legal research to support case strategy. Meet with clients, provide legal advice, prepare for negotiations, and assist with hearings, mediations, and court appearances. Work with senior attorneys and staff to develop case plans, evaluate risks, and pursue favorable outcomes. Will also maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable laws.

Must be proficient in legal Research, able to use legal databases and analysis of precedents to support arguments and strategies. Needs to have effective negotiation skills for resolving disputes, drafting settlement agreements, and advocating in discussions with opposing counsel.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Alabama, or eligibility for admission.
