Chiropractic Assistant

Gillis Chiropractic Clinic's Lima location is looking for a highly motivated, reliable and cheerful individual to join our team!

The duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling appointments, data input of patient information, payments and charge details into ChiroTouch system and setting up any necessary therapy modalities as prescribed by the doctor.

As the first and last point of contact for our patients in our office, our ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, great at multitasking and are self motivated.

Responsibilities

• • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Post daily payments/charges in Chirotouch EMR system
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk, waiting room and overall office space
  • Pre-certs, referrals and other miscellaneous task
  • Perform therapy modalities, which include muscle stem & intersegmental traction (will be trained in office)
  • Sanitizing adjustment tables and patient rooms in between appointments

Skills

• • Computer experience is a must and experience with an EMR system encouraged
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree required

Part-Time

• • Part-Time Monday, Thursday and Friday 7:45am-5:00pm, no weekends, all major holidays off and $25,000 life insurance policy paid for by the employer.
