Job Purpose

The SCIT Financial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Supply

Chain Inbound Transportation (SCIT) Department. This role provides leadership and support for

transportation financial management, cost analysis, budgeting, invoice auditing, carrier spend

reporting, and data-driven decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for SCIT financial operations.

Oversee transportation-related financial reporting and analysis.

Review, audit, and validate carrier invoices.

Monitor department spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare transportation cost reports and KPIs.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Lead transportation cost reduction initiatives.

Partner with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and Accounting teams.

Coach and develop assigned personnel.
