Packer - 1st Shift (7:00 AM-3:00 PM)

Position Summary

PELOTON Workforce Inc. is seeking 20 dependable Packers for our client’s busy fulfillment and warehouse operation in Elgin, Illinois.

This entry-level position offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule. Packers will support daily order fulfillment, kitting, packaging, assembly, and shipping operations. No previous warehouse experience is required, and training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Package products according to written instructions.
• Perform kitting and light assembly of products, bundles, and sets.
• Build and prepare boxes for shipping.
• Sort, count, label, and organize products.
• Perform general warehouse and hand-labor duties.
• Read numbers, product information, and ZIP codes.
• Inspect products and orders for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and supervisors’ instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work for approximately eight hours per shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 5–15 pounds.
• Ability to repeatedly use hands for packing, assembling, sorting, and handling products.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Qualifications

• No previous warehouse experience is required.
• Basic English reading and communication skills are helpful.
• English language learners are welcome to apply.
• Dependable and available to work Monday through Friday.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable learning basic warehouse technology, such as an RF scanner, when required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
