About the Role:
Globaltekforcecom Inc is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Mid Level IT Business Analyst to join our growing team in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to support IT initiatives
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and end-users throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Conduct gap analysis, workflow mapping, and process improvement assessments
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases and coordinating testing efforts
- Maintain clear and organized project documentation, including BRDs, use cases, and user stories
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Proficiency in creating requirements documentation, user stories, and process flow diagrams
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
