Position Overview

Superb Futbol Club is seeking an experienced and passionate U12 & U14 Boys Soccer Coach to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a proven background coaching competitive boys club soccer, preferably at the U12 or U14 level, and a strong understanding of player development.

The coach will be responsible for leading training sessions, developing individual and team performance, preparing players for competitive matches and tournaments, and creating an environment that challenges athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Increased pay negotiable with coaching licenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions focused on technical and tactical development.
• Develop players' skills in passing, receiving, dribbling, finishing, defending, positioning, movement, and decision-making.
• Prepare teams for league games, tournaments, showcases, and other competitive events.
• Evaluate individual and team performance and provide constructive feedback and development goals.
• Develop team identity, playing principles, accountability, and a strong competitive mentality.
• Manage game-day preparation, player rotations, substitutions, and tactical adjustments.
• Foster a positive, competitive, and development-focused environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Communicate professionally with players, parents, and club staff while collaborating with other Superb Futbol Club coaches to support the club's overall player-development pathway.

Required Qualifications

• Must have previous experience coaching competitive club soccer.
• Previous experience coaching U12–U14 boys is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of youth player development and age-appropriate coaching methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individual players within a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of the technical and tactical aspects of the game.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a competitive yet positive and development-focused environment.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate adolescent athletes.
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and comply with club safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• USSF, United Soccer Coaches, or other recognized coaching certification.
• Experience coaching competitive travel or elite-level club teams.
• Experience coaching teams participating in competitive leagues, tournaments, or showcases.
• Collegiate, professional, or high-level competitive playing experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience coaching both soccer and futsal is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced boys club soccer coach who understands the transition from foundational youth development into a more advanced and competitive stage of the game.

The successful candidate should be able to challenge players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally while maintaining a positive and supportive environment. They should understand how to balance player development with competitive performance and be capable of teaching players not only where to be on the field, but why and when to make specific decisions.

The coach should be an excellent communicator, teacher, leader, and role model who is committed to developing confident, intelligent, competitive soccer players and helping them progress within the Superb Futbol Club player-development pathway.
