This role requires a capable litigator who commands a courtroom and delivers exceptional legal writing. Core Responsibilities

• Case Ownership: Steer commercial and business litigation matters independently from case inception through final resolution and trial.
• Courtroom Advocacy: Take and defend depositions, argue at hearings, and lead cases through mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Written Advocacy: Draft compelling pleadings, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, discovery requests, and regular legal correspondence.
• Evidence Analysis: Review and dissect complex contracts, corporate records, financial documents, and other crucial evidence.
• Trial Preparation: Ready witnesses, organize exhibits, and structure evidence for upcoming hearings and trials.
• Client Advisory: Keep clients fully informed by translating complex legal risks and developments into clear, actionable advice.
• Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with senior partners and litigation support staff while remaining personally accountable for your caseload.

Qualifications

• Texas Bar License: Active admission in good standing is required. Additional state bar admissions are a major plus.
• Litigation Background: Substantial, hands-on experience handling commercial, business, or high-stakes civil litigation.
• Trial Experience: A proven track record of taking complex cases through discovery, contested hearings, and final verdict.
• Communication Power: Standout oral advocacy skills paired with the ability to draft sophisticated legal arguments independently.
• Execution: High attention to detail, strong negotiation instincts, and the ability to balance multiple deadlines under pressure.
