TruBlu HR Solutions is currently seeking a Business Analyst for an established healthcare organization in the Houston area. This is an 8-month contract opportunity onsite.

Position: Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TX 77043

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: 8-month contract

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

The Business Analyst will conduct moderate to complex analysis, evaluate business processes, monitor resources, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop reports and trend analyses to support departmental effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business and operational analysis
• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop trend analysis and KPI reports
• Monitor resources and operational performance
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Convert approved requirements into system configurations
• Support testing and validation activities
• Participate in integration testing
• Monitor data quality and help resolve system issues
• Work with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Support system updates, releases, and new population rollouts
• Maintain documentation, mappings, workflows, and role assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant business or analytical experience
• Expert-level Excel skills
• Integration testing experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets and databases
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Oracle experience is a plus
