Job Description
The Sheet Metal Mechanic will specialize in fabricating and assembling sheet metal components primarily for HVAC projects. Working within medium to large teams, the mechanic will utilize various welding techniques and blueprint interpretation skills to ensure high-quality workmanship. The role includes occasional travel to job sites and demands strict adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet metal parts according to project specifications
- Perform metal cutting using appropriate tools and machinery
- Apply MIG, TIG, spot, and arc welding techniques to join metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Conduct quality inspections to meet project standards
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols throughout all tasks

- 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
