Warehouse Associate – Growth Opportunity - Tomball

Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Overtime: Must have flexibility to work overtime, late nights, and occasional weekends as business needs require.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate for a hands-on position with a growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn and grow within an organization.

This is a labor-intensive position. Initially, the Warehouse Associate will focus primarily on general labor, material handling, loading and unloading, cleaning, and facility support. Employees who demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic will have the opportunity to cross-train in other departments and develop additional technical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, equipment, and products
• Perform physically demanding general labor throughout the shift
• Lift, carry, move, and organize heavy materials
• Maintain warehouse and facility cleanliness
• Sweep, clean, organize, and perform general facility tasks
• Assist with material handling and warehouse operations
• Accurately use and read a tape measure
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Assist other departments as needed
• Identify basic problems and use good judgment to help resolve them
• Learn new equipment, processes, and job functions through cross-training
• Maintain a dependable attendance record and arrive ready to work
• Work overtime, late evenings, and weekends when required

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning how things work
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable performing heavy, physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and professional personality
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed
• Flexible availability for overtime, late nights, and occasional weekend work
• Warehouse, construction, mechanical, manufacturing, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
