Job Description
- Assist and Install: Support or lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium-to-large HVAC systems and controls
- Diagnose breakdowns, test parts, and perform necessary repairs
- Work on rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, and electrical controls
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine tasks like filter changes, belt inspections, and coil cleaning.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns, test parts, and execute required repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow strict safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and lockout/tagout protocols.
- Documentation: Record maintenance data and report any critical issues to supervisors.
- Experience: 5+ years
- Licensing: State Journeyman or Master HVAC License preferred or required for senior tracks.
- Certifications: Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 75 lbs) and work at heights or in tight industrial spaces
