QC Dimensional Technician

Mobile Staff Solutions is seeking a skilled QC Dimensional Technician in the Tampa Bay area! This is a temporary to permanent position.

SUMMARY

The QC Tech’s role is perform verification of in process shop fabrication dimensions based on shop drawings and specifications. Also preform visual weld inspection (after training).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility (specific assignments vary by individual):

• Verifies conformance of product to shop drawings and contract requirements through:
• Dimensional checks with Tape measure to drawings.
• Visual inspection of welds (informational)
• Generates inspection records or provides input to QC Manager for records as required
• Ability to listen, learn and follow directions
• High school diploma, GED, or ability to obtain GED
• Aptitude for reading and understanding drawings
• Aptitude for using a calculator for minor calculations
• Ability to walk and work in a shop open air environment
• Understanding of and concern for a safe working environment.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Able to work inside or outside in a shop environment
• Lifting 25lbs, walking, standing, stooping, bending and climbing a ladder

• Work with QC department lead and respect to all employees.
