Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) Location unspecified. This position involves supporting cardiovascular procedures in an acute hospital setting, with responsibilities including performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, managing complex cardiac devices, and assisting during emergency cardiac events. The role requires working on a 4-day schedule, with specific shifts and on-call duties.
Job Details
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS.
- Education and experience: 2 years of related experience preferred; minimum 2 years experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, electrophysiology evaluations, and neurointerventional procedures.
- Previous experience with EP or IR procedures is preferred, along with proficiency in cardiac and neuro device management.
- The candidate must have valid licensure (pending license accepted) and be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- The role involves floating within scope to other hospital units or nearby facilities as needed.
- Reference checks for 1 year (6 months for CNAs) and two references within the last 3 years are required.
- Candidates must look into housing options as options may be limited.
- Modules required are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, and completed pre-start and annually.
