Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CT Tech in Apple Valley, CA, specializing in Radiology and Cardiology. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to perform 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift, working with GE and Toshiba equipment.
**MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFT TIMES; CANNOT ACCOMMODATE A SPECIFIC SHIFT REQUEST.** The unit will work to keep clinicians on either day, night, or graveyard shifts, but back-to-back night and day shifts will not be scheduled. There is a high need for graveyard shifts, and you must be open to working 3 out of 5 major holidays.
As a CT Tech, you must be able to work independently and efficiently, with community hospital experience required. The facility is able to call off once every two-week pay period, and you may be asked to do your own transport based on staffing needs. The ratios are 1:1, and you will need to have at least 2 years of experience. First-timers are accepted, and weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
**Certifications Required:** BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT. This position does not require on-call duties, and you will not need to float between like units. RTO must be included at the time of submission, and pending licenses are not accepted. Free parking is available for all staff.
