DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Department of Auditor General (DAG) is looking to fill an IT Auditor 4 position within the Bureau of Information Technology Audits. This role supports the review of technology controls that help protect the Commonwealth's financial information. You will be responsible for managing a team(s) as they evaluate computer systems and data use in major statewide audits. Administrative duties may include preparing reports and forms; conducting meetings, seminars, and research; as well as completing employee performance reviews. As an IT Auditor 4 within the Bureau of Information Technology Audits, you will perform the following duties:
- Audit Leadership: Manage daily activities of IT Auditors and guide staff understanding of audit goals
- Work Assignment: Participate in assigning tasks and monitor progress of audit work
- Technical Review: Perform first level reviews of data analytics, Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), and IT control testing for multiple audit types
- Advanced Analysis: Conduct complex IT control testing and develop approaches for data analytics and CAATs
- Standards Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of ACL or similar audit data analytics software, as well as the Department's Audit Manual, IT Audits' Audit Manual, GAGAS, GAAS, COBIT, and ISACA Standards
- Staff Training: Train team members on standards, procedures, software, and working paper techniques
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: This is a remote position which includes limited traveling to Harrisburg, PA for in-person training. You will be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $78,925.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND one year experience as an Auditor 3, IT Auditor 3, Liquor Store Examiner 3, or a Management Trainee; or
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND four years of accounting/auditing experience, including one year of supervisory accounting or auditing experience; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be a Pennsylvania resident by the date of hire.
- You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
