Make an impact working in a dynamic education environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This rewarding, full-time opportunity involves directly supporting multiple high schools, working closely with administration and school psychologists on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), observations, intervention planning, and the creation of effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). As an itinerant practitioner, you’ll serve closely located campuses in a collaborative setting.

Pay for this role ranges from $50 to $60 per hour, determined by your years of experience and degree level.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification through BACB
  • At least one year of experience in a school setting
  • Background in school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Previous experience supporting high school and emotionally disturbed (ED) student populations
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation training strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educational teams
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FBAs and classroom observations
  • Develop data-driven interventions and individualized BIPs
  • Partner with administrative staff and school psychologists to ensure consistent implementation of supports
  • Provide expertise in crisis management and de-escalation strategies
  • Offer training and consultative support to school staff as needed
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records
