Job Description
Make a real difference in the lives of students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting K-12 learners near Elon, NC. This contract position offers the chance to bring your specialized expertise to a diverse caseload, partnering closely with school staff and making a direct impact on children—including those with disabilities or on the autism spectrum.
This role runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, with consistent Monday–Friday hours totaling 37.5 per week. You'll provide behavioral support, conduct assessments, develop and oversee intervention plans, and ensure the highest level of service delivery. In addition to working directly with students, you’ll take on a supervisory role, providing guidance and support to another consultant.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Master’s degree and current BCBA certification (required)
- Previous experience working in educational settings and with children (K-12)
- Demonstrated expertise supporting children with disabilities and/or autism
- Prior BCBA experience strongly preferred
- Skills in supervision, consultation, and collaboration
- Ability to work onsite and thrive in a collaborative school environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting behavioral assessments and developing tailored intervention plans
- Providing direct intervention to students and supporting staff implementation
- Supervising and mentoring one designated contractor in day-to-day responsibilities
- Collaborating actively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth
