Position Summary

Full-time Med-Surg Oncology RN opportunity in Tallahassee, FL, within a 288-bed acute-care hospital. The RN will provide patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical and oncology patients while performing clinical assessments and managing treatment plans. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent acute-care Med-Surg RN experience. The position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, a $15K day / $20K night sign-on bonus, and case-by-case relocation assistance.

Position Overview

• Collect and assess comprehensive patient health data.
• Analyze assessment findings and identify patient care needs.
• Develop individualized patient care plans and expected outcomes.
• Provide safe, effective nursing care to adult patients.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote patient safety throughout the care process.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.
• Manage time, supplies, and equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute-care Med-Surg RN experience required.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate/compact RN license.
• Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain a Florida RN license after relocation.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Shift Differentials:

• Nights: +$3/hr
• Weekends: +$2/hr

Sign-On Bonus

• Days: $15,000
• Nights: $20,000
