Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Support Staff to join their dynamic team. Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00/hour
*Listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.

This is a remote contract position. Looking for candidates to work either a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule, or Friday-Monday 8am-6pm schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate authorization and referral requests in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  • Review and enter clinical and demographic information accurately.
  • Prepare and process member and provider documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems.
  • Communicate with members, providers, and internal teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Provide coverage and support for projects as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, utilization management, or health plan operations.
  • Epic experience required.
  • Experience with healthcare documentation, authorizations, referrals, and related systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare workflows, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work independently in a remote environment.
