Physical Therapist - School Setting in Crooksville, OH

Step into a rewarding role as a contract Physical Therapist serving PreK-12 students onsite two days per week. Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Ohio
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to effectively manage PreK-12 caseloads across a variety of functional needs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and fellow professionals
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and upholding confidentiality

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans for students with varying physical and developmental needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, adjusting strategies as needed for student progress
• Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom activities and learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing critical insight into students’ physical abilities and challenges
• Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and intervention outcomes
• Educate families and caregivers about at-home exercises and strategies for continued development
