Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor

Location: Southgate, MI
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Additional Hours: Minimum 4 hours after 5:00 PM each week; occasional evenings/weekends based on program needs
Pay: $35.60–$48.17/hour

Job Summary

We are hiring an IDD Supervisor to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of an Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities program. This role provides staff supervision, supports client care, manages documentation, and ensures compliance with program and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff.
• Manage client and staff crisis situations.
• Review treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation.
• Train and support staff with electronic medical record systems.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Must hold a full Michigan LMSW, LLP, or LPC license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must qualify for CMHP and QIDP within 120 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record.
• Strong communication, organization, and crisis-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred

• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Waiver programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
