Dishwasher / Busser - Full-time / Part-time

Old Hickory Inn BBQ is looking for a dependable Dishwasher / Busser to help keep our restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly.

This position is responsible for more than washing dishes. You will help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including the kitchen, dining room, restrooms, and other assigned areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dish area and kitchen clean and organized
• Cleaning and maintaining the dining room throughout the shift
• Bussing and cleaning tables
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms
• Emptying trash and handling general cleaning duties
• Helping the team as needed during busy periods

Pay: $11–$12 per hour plus a portion of the employee tip pool.

This position plays an important role in the overall guest experience. Keeping the restaurant clean, comfortable, and well maintained is a key part of taking care of our customers, which is why this position participates in the tip share.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, works with a sense of urgency, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to work as part of a team.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Available to work: holidays
• Available to work: weekends

Preferred qualifications:

• Food Service license/certification: Food Handler's License
• Restaurant back of house skills: dishwashing
• Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
• Reliable transportation to and from work
