MRI Technologist (Radiology) - Full Time 12hr Varied

SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Director/Manager of Radiology/Respiratory and Medical Director of Radiology perform MRI procedures provided by the Radiology Department.   The MRI technologist demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.   Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard procedures and policies and conforms to them.  This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, specific regulatory requirements of Title 22, California Licensing & Certification of Health Facilities; Title 17, California Radiation Control Regulations; and, preventive maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Experience: 5 years of MRI experience preferred
• Required License/ Certifications: Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARMRIT) Certification, BLS card provided by AHA;  ABM/MAB/CPI certificate within (90 days upon hire) annually thereafter
• Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language
• Physical Requirements: Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.  Review physical activities and working conditions for this position
