Tug Boat Captain $2200+ WEEKLY

Seeking an experienced, safety-focused Tug Boat Captain to operate a 25.9' tug and safely maneuver, shift, position, and transport barges throughout the Port of Iberia
Key Requirements:
- Previous tug boat/work boat operating experience required
- Previous barge-handling experience required
- Ability to safely maneuver and handle barges in confined areas
- Strong communication and safety awareness
- Ability to work outdoors and assist with other operational duties when barge activity is limited
- USCG Master of Towing Vessels endorsement or applicable MMC preferred, but not required
Barge activity is expected approximately 50% of the year, with other duties assigned during periods of reduced activity.
Shifts:
- 5am-5pm Monday - Friday
- Some weekends as needed
