  • Diagnose engine performance      issues and return vessels to operational status.
  • Perform routine engine services      and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and      parts-usage records.
  • Support vessel launch, recovery,      movement, and operational preparation as required.
  • Provide maintenance support in      shop, waterfront, field, and deployed environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and electrical      troubleshooting skills.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret      Security Clearance.
  • Current U.S. Passport.
  • Ability to travel on short      notice, including domestic and international assignments.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently in      field and waterfront environments.

Highly Preferred

  • Mercury outboard engine      maintenance and repair experience.
  • Mercury Marine training,      certifications, or diagnostic experience.
  • Experience with RHIBs/RIBs,      military, government, law-enforcement, or commercial small craft.
  • Experience with marine 12V/24V      electrical systems and vessel electronics.
  • Previous deployed or remote      maintenance experience.
  • Spanish-speaking or bilingual      English/Spanish skills — preferred, but not required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hands-on technician and problem solver who can assess a boat or engine issue, determine the appropriate repair, and get the vessel back into operation with minimal supervision.
