Assemblers

Our North America segment is composed of wholesale operations, which consists of aftermarket and recycled OEM parts to remanufactured engines and heavy-duty truck components. 

• Operate production equipment 

• Maintain the warehouse’s machines 

• Assembling machinery parts 

• Store products and materials 

• Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift 

• Report on defective products or machinery 

• Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials 

• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products 

• Review and follow manufacturing manuals to build machinery 

• Ensure shipping procedures are timely 

• Requires continuous physical effort; short work cycles; repetitive motion work.   

• Standing 80%, walking 20%.   

• Lifts, pushes, pulls an average of 60+ lb. 

• Exposures to atmospheric conditions such as dust, fumes, varying temperature extremes.   

• Exposure to noise, various chemicals, and waste products.

• Work is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures may vary based on weather and working conditions. 

• Fans are available throughout the facility. 

• May be required to wear required PPE. 

• Safety glasses are required when applicable. Steel-toe boots are recommended. 

• Employees must follow all client and Smith Personnel Solutions’ safety rules and PPE requirements. 

• Ability to learn how production equipment works. 

• Ability to detect potential problems with machinery. 

• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided). 

• Good communication and teamwork. 

• Basic computer skills 

• Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager
