A day in this role

At 7:00am, you kick off the shift with a quick safety huddle, set priorities, and walk the converting floor. Throughout the day you coach operators, reinforce best practices, and remove roadblocks so the line meets production targets. You proactively audit for safety compliance, document incidents, and dig into near-misses to prevent recurrence. Quality checks punctuate your routine—verifying specs, ensuring procedures are followed, and guiding adjustments. You invest in your team’s skills through hands-on training and clear direction, collaborate with HR on payroll, staffing, and personnel matters, and close the day with a clean handoff to the next supervisor so nothing gets lost at shift change.

Compensation

• $70,000–$89,000

Schedule

• 7:00am – 7:00pm
• 2-2-3 schedule

What you’ll do

• Lead, motivate, and evaluate shift employees to achieve daily production goals.
• Champion a proactive safety culture: conduct audits, ensure compliance, file incident reports, and investigate near-misses.
• Guarantee product quality by confirming specifications and enforcing procedures.
• Train the team on company processes with a focus on safety, quality, and output.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR for payroll, labor/personnel issues, and staffing.
• Coordinate with peer supervisors to communicate key updates at shift changeover.

What you bring

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Minimum 5 years of successful production supervision, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the aptitude to learn new systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with hourly teams, management, and peers.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs (and occasionally more) and regularly stand/move on the floor.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Six Sigma certification.
