Hill View Retirement Center is a Continuing Care Retirement Community serving Portsmouth and the surrounding Southern Ohio region. Our campus offers a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and supportive services. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator will join an experienced leadership team and oversee our 72-bed skilled nursing facility while collaborating with leaders across the Hill View campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who values stability, teamwork, quality improvement, and the ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and employees.

Key Responsibilities
Direct the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility.
Ensure compliance with CMS, Ohio Department of Health, Medicaid, Medicare, and other applicable requirements.
Promote resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality of life.
Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Prepare for and manage regulatory surveys, complaint investigations, and plans of correction.
Monitor staffing, labor costs, census, reimbursement, and departmental budgets.
Recruit, develop, and retain qualified department leaders and staff.
Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, activities, environmental services, and other departments.
Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, referral partners, and the community.
Review clinical and operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure facility policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Maintain a professional, ethical, and accountable workplace culture.
Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license required.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous nursing home leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of CMS and Ohio nursing facility regulations.
Experience with regulatory surveys, quality improvement, staffing, budgeting, and reimbursement.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners.
