Reno Staffing is looking for rework operators level II for an electronics and hardware manufacturer located in the Carson City area!

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.
Pay: $25.50/hr. Temp to Hire
Location: Carson City, NV 89706-Own transportation required

Summary:  

An SMT/PTH Rework Operator II performs rework and modifications to PCBA circuits varying from simple to complex.
The activities carried out include hand soldering of SMT and PTH components. 
Remove and Re-install components. 
Use of rework equipment such as ERSA for BGA rework.
Use of Mini-pot for PTH components.
Use of pre-heaters to accommodate units with heavier amounts of copper. 
Use of heat gun maintaining control to not damage product.
Assists in the rework process development of new components or products. 
 
Process Optimization:
 
The Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize the rework processes, including the listed above and maintain acceptable levels of quality.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
Other duties may be assigned.
  • Know operation of BGA rework equipment
  • Know operation of X-ray equipment
  • Understand application of pre-heating table or hot air flow gun when rework is required
  • Understand use Mini-solder pot  
  • Know the difference between Leaded and Lead-Free processes
  • Know inspection of PCB to ensure quality standards are met
  • Execute written and/or verbal instructions given by Supervisor/Manager and monitor efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks
  • Demonstrate work methods and equipment operation to new hires
  • Report results of assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Follow standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
