Job Summary (List Format):
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing radiologic technology according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including digital radiography (DR) systems and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by practicing proper radiation protection techniques and maintaining a compassionate, professional demeanor.
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters for optimal results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including infection control and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills within a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient radiology services.
- Stay current with continuing education and maintain required certifications and licenses.
Med Ninjas Job ID #15407. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
