Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification to provide diagnostic imaging services in an urgent care clinic setting.
Details
- Clinic-based urgent care setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 6:15 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic radiography procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
- Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure and ensures documentation is available for licensed practitioner use
- Prepares patients for procedures, provides instructions to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety
- Selects and operates radiography equipment to complete procedures
- Exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor consistent with medical ethics
- Recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures
