Travel RN - ED | Tuscaloosa, AL | Block Scheduling | Travel Contract | Competitive Pay

We’re hiring experienced Emergency Department RNs for multiple 13-week travel assignments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

This opportunity offers mid-shift schedules, 36 or 48-hour options, and potential block scheduling. The ED supports all age groups in a busy Level III Trauma Center environment.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: October 12, 2026

• 13-week contract

• Shift Options:

  • 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

• 36 or 48 hours/week available

• Potential block scheduling

• Every other weekend

• Holidays as required

• Locals accepted

• ED ratios generally 1:3–4, with 1:1 for critical/trauma patients

• Meditech charting

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage emergency and trauma patients

• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions

• Provide emergency medications, treatments and interventions

• Collaborate with physicians and emergency-care teams

• Float when required based on facility needs

Requirements

• AL or Compact RN license

• Minimum ASN degree

• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and TNCC

• 2 years of RN experience preferred; 18+ months may be considered

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience

• Comfortable with dysrhythmia testing and floating
