Job Description
On-site in Cincinnati, OH
Our client seeks a senior project manager to lead the implementation of two retail store infrastructure projects focused on PIN pad delivery. The PM will manage hardware deployment and rollout for retail stores through internal teams and external partners. The PM will drive technical teams and vendors to milestones, resolve issues with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate dependencies and status. The PM will keep technical teams on track and escalate issues as appropriate.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules.
- Establish and update project plans and budgets with actuals and forecasts.
- Design and implement the program governance model.
- Conduct project meetings, tracking, and analysis.
- Ensure project objectives are documented and delivered to meet customer needs.
- Manage integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Communicate timely project status to stakeholders.
- Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
- Lead hardware deployment and rollout to retail stores with focus on PIN pad delivery.
- Retail store implementation experience.
- Network/POS background a plus.
- Problem solving and organizational skills.
- Track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget.
- Ability in team motivation and delegation.
- Communication and presentation skills for customers and all organizational levels.
- Advanced analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of advanced project management, basic program management, and basic portfolio concepts, practices, and procedures.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
