Amusement Park Porter

Summary:  The Porter ensures the cleanliness of all areas of carousel Gardens and Storyland, including the grounds, walkways, rides, and facilities such as the bathrooms and offices. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned 

• Cleans all bathroom facilities. 
• Constantly walks grounds, picking up trash and cleaning spills 
• Ensures rides and ride areas are free of trash and debris. 
• Gets the park ready for opening before each day, recovering it after the park has closed. 
• Mops, sweeps, and moves tables and chairs between birthday party areas. 
• Wipes down benches, tables, and trash cans as needed 
• Empties trash cans, hauls trash to dumpster facilities, and replaces liners in trash cans. 
• Communicates with supervisory staff regarding any potential hazardous safety conditions. 
• Provides exceptional guest service, answers any guest questions and assists park guests when needed. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: NONE 

qualifications and education requirements 

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
