Snelling is seeking a talented Mechanical Service Technician to join a diverse team for a company in the Alabaster area. The service technician will be working on various custom-engineering equipment for foundry, forge, and steelworks environments.
Starting Pay Range: $23.00-25.00/hr, plus benefits
Mechanical Service Technician Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Will inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment or components and provide written service reports from findings.
- Will be responsible for facility and grounds maintenance as needed.
- Will assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Will assist with spare parts processing as needed.
Mechanical Service Technician Qualifications Required:
- 2-3 years of service experience, preferably in mechanical repair.
- Good level of technical aptitude including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- General knowledge of common PC software including MS Office, and e-mail.
