Forklift/Material Handler
Perrysburg, Ohio
$17HR - Paid Weekly
- 1st shift 6 am - 2:30 pm
- 2nd shift 2 pm - 10:30 pm
- 3rd shift 10 pm - 6:30 am
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for safely moving, staging and supplying materials throughout the facility to keep production running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Move and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Supply production lines and equipment with necessary materials.
- Load, unload, move and organize materials as needed.
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as assigned.
- Maintain proper material flow to prevent production delays.
- Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
- Organize and maintain designated storage and staging areas.
- Assist with inventory and material tracking.
- Remove finished products and scrap from production areas.
- Follow established safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Communicate material shortages or production needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform additional production or warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
