Material Handler
Pharr, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Rate: $15.27/hr
Position Type: This is a temporary position and will remain in effect only until the assignment ends.

Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, storing, and organizing products.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and other designated locations.
- Review shipments and accompanying documentation for quality and accuracy.
- Safely secure and protect loads using appropriate materials and strapping equipment.
- Organize and stack drums, skids, pallets, and other materials in designated areas.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Understand equipment loading capacities and schedules to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials.
- Follow all company, site, and department safety procedures, including applicable OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of relevant forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
- Verified sit-down forklift experience is required.
- Must be able to safely operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment.
- Must successfully complete a practical forklift evaluation prior to hiring to demonstrate safe operation and competency.
- Good basic math and written communication skills.
- Ability to safely handle and move materials while preventing damage or loss.
- Clamp forklift experience is a plus.
- RF scanner experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
