General Labor
Location: Charlotte, MI
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Pay: $18.00/hr
Job Summary
We’re looking for dependable General Labor associates to support daily production operations in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. This role involves machine operation, material handling, quality checks, and assisting with various manual tasks. Candidates must be detailoriented, safetyfocused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Assist machine operators with setup, stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished materials.
- Gauge parts accurately using measurement tools and follow all work instructions.
- Complete required paperwork and properly label finished materials.
- Operate manufacturing equipment such as cutoff saws, stretchers, presses, shears, and forming machines.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces.
- Handload parts onto racks and remove them from anodizing racks into proper packaging.
- Rack and unrack material at extrusion saws and monitor racker functions.
- Handload parts from extrusion tables, cooling tables, and saws into appropriate packaging.
- Perform daily machine maintenance and minor tool upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and facilities.
- Work safely, meet production standards, and contribute positively to team goals.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months of related experience or training preferred.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Reliable, safetyminded, and teamoriented.
Skills:
- Ability to operate manufacturing machinery and hand tools.
- Tape measure proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clear communication skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
