QMAP – LTC – Nights

Location: Wray, CO
Position: Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP)
Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Nursing Home
Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to support residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) / nursing home setting.

The QMAP will be responsible for safe and accurate medication administration while providing quality resident care and working collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Verify medication orders and follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions.
• Report changes in resident condition or medication-related concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Accurately and promptly document medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility procedures.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow established medication-safety practices and resident care plans.

Requirements

• Current QMAP certification required.
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) / nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Must be available to start ASAP.
