We’re hiring experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs for multiple 13-week travel assignments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

This is a strong option for travelers looking for multiple openings, day or night shifts, and flexibility between 36 or 48 hours per week.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: October 12, 2026

• 13-week contract

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• 36 or 48 hours/week available

• Every other weekend

• Holidays as required

• Locals accepted

• Approximate ratio: 1:6

• Meditech charting

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients

• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition

• Administer medications and coordinate patient care

• Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams

• Float to other appropriate units when needed

Requirements

• AL or Compact RN license

• Minimum ASN degree

• BLS – AHA or American Red Cross

• 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with 18+ months may be considered

• At least 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience

• Comfortable with dysrhythmia testing and floating
