Blaster/Painters - Offshore Gulf of Mexico - Now Hiring

Mistras is seeking motivated Blaster/Painters at the Entry Level, Intermediate, and Journeyman levels to join our team. In this role, you will prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings in accordance with MISTRAS, client, and industry standards while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation activities.
• Apply industrial coatings and paint systems to specified standards.
• Inspect surfaces before, during, and after coating application.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Complete required documentation and reporting accurately.

Qualifications:

• Previous blasting and painting experience preferred (requirements vary by level).
• Ability to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Willingness to travel and work a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
