FFA Social Worker

The social worker provides case management support and services within Foster Care and Adoption services to ensure the emotional and physical safety of youth and families.

Must have a minimum Bachelors preferably Masters degree

Responsibilities And Duties

1. Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of youth and family strengths and needs.

2. Maintains ongoing communication and provides pertinent information to and coordinates with authorized representatives and other team members, participating in meetings.

3. Supports resource parents to facilitate a successful placement and ensures compliance with agency, state and county regulatory requirements.

4. Meets with resource parents and youth in the home and community settings, developing a healthy relationship and ensuring needed supports and services are provided.

5. Provide on call services/support for after hour emergencies.

6. Attend weekly staff meetings and in service trainings.

7. Write and update RFA home studies and other reports.

8. Completes all documentation and file compliance in accordance with agency requirements.

9. Performs other related responsibilities as assigned by the social worker supervisor.
