Production & Assembly Technician

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production & Assembly Technician to assist with the manufacturing, assembly, and fulfillment of customer orders.

This is a hands-on production position. The technician will operate our CNC equipment, assemble finished components, inspect products for quality, and package completed orders for shipment.

No prior manufacturing experience is required if the applicant is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with computers and equipment, and willing to learn our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment to produce components according to established production procedures.
• Load and unload materials and prepare equipment for production runs.
• Select and run production files according to work orders and established procedures.
• Monitor equipment during operation and identify potential production or equipment issues.
• Assemble finished components according to established specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect components and completed products for accuracy, quality, and defects.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Package and label customer orders for carrier pickup.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production and assembly workspace.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Monitor production materials and supplies and notify management when inventory is running low.
• Follow all established equipment, material-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with general production, inventory, and fulfillment tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Dependable and able to work independently after training.
• Comfortable operating computers, machinery, and production equipment.
• Able to follow written production instructions and established procedures.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Able to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately.
• Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle sheets of material, packages, and production supplies.
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, assembly, laser cutting, CNC, or fulfillment experience is helpful but not required.
