Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for a flexible schedule and steady part-time work?

We are seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a small, well-maintained apartment community in South Austin. This position offers approximately 24 hours per week, a consistent Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule, and the opportunity to work independently while making a direct impact on resident satisfaction.

Whether you have apartment maintenance experience, facilities experience, handyman skills, or general property maintenance experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Complete maintenance requests and work orders
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Prepare apartments for new residents
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting issues
• Conduct property inspections
• Coordinate outside vendors when necessary
• Maintain a safe and attractive community

What We're Looking For

• Previous apartment, building, facilities, or property maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Troubleshooting and repair skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors

Preferred Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance experience
• EPA 608 Certification
• HVAC knowledge
• Experience responding to maintenance emergencies
