Technical Accounting & Accounting Advisory Lead

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Accounting professional to join a growing Finance organization at a large, public company. This is an opportunity to take on a broad technical accounting role supporting complex accounting matters and partnering with Finance leadership, business teams, and external auditors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting research, accounting policy, and financial reporting, along with the ability to analyze complex issues and clearly communicate accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities:

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant technical accounting exposure
• CPA required; active status preferred, but inactive CPAs may be considered
• Background in public accounting, technical accounting, accounting advisory, or industry
• Experience with a large public company and/or financial services organization is a plus
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching and documenting complex accounting matters
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior Finance and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
